How I teach
The gap, not the symptom
A student stuck on related rates is usually stuck on algebra from two years ago. We find that and fix it, so the next unit is not another emergency.
Worked problems, not lectures
You do the problems while I watch and interrupt. Watching someone else solve it is the fastest way to feel like you understand something you cannot yet do.
One ladder, top to bottom
Grade 7 arithmetic through second year engineering math is one continuous thing. Being taught by one person who sees the whole ladder is worth a lot.

Frequently asked
Which courses do you actually cover?+
Every Ontario math and science course from Grade 7 through Grade 12, all streams and not just university preparation, plus first and second year engineering math, physics, chemistry, and programming. That is 44 courses in total; the full list is on the courses page.
Do you follow the Ontario curriculum?+
Yes. Sessions are built around the expectations your course is actually assessed on, and around your teacher’s handouts and past tests where you have them. For university courses we work from your syllabus and problem sets.
Online or in person?+
Online by default, over video call with a shared whiteboard, which works well and keeps scheduling flexible across America/Toronto. Ask when you reach out if you are looking for something else.
My test is in three days. Is that too late?+
No, but be honest about it when you write. A short intensive block before a test is a real thing I do. It just needs different planning than a standing weekly slot.
Do you work with parents or directly with the student?+
Both. For students under 18 I keep a parent in the loop on scheduling and progress; the sessions themselves are one-on-one with the student.
How does payment work?+
Worked out directly once we agree on a package. Nothing is charged automatically through this site, and there is no account to create.
